Promoting safe work environments is of key importance to the Wilmington-Clinton County Chamber of Commerce. That's why we're proud to have partnered with Clinton Memorial Hospital and the businesses of the Wilmington College Center for Sport Sciences (CSS) - Beacon Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine; Rohlfs Chiropractic Care; and Drayer Physical Therapy Institute - to bring you an "Occupational Health, Wellness, & Safety" Lunch & Learn series.
The series includes five weekly one-hour workshops on a range of topics to enhance the health, wellness, and safety of your employees, including creating safety working environments, steps to take when an accident does happen, injury and accident prevention, and much more.
Our first session starts Thursday, July 14th, and the featured topic is "Creating a Safety Culture" in which you will learn how to define a safety culture; to discuss the impact of the safety culture within your business; and to identify the major processes needed to positively impact your safety culture.
Safety is of utmost importance at all levels and these workshops will be targeted to businesses of all sizes - from 1 employee to 500. Workshops will be held in the Center for Sport Sciences on the Wilmington College Campus from Noon-1PM.
