Mechanical Engineer

Investigate, design, purchase, and build machinery and jigs for the manufacturing environment required to produce products as assigned.  Equipment design must be suitable for a mass production environment that fosters high product quality and consistent cycle time.  Provide technical support to the organization for current production and new model addition.  Must be able to successfully communicate to and work with cross-functional teams involving multiple disciplines (Engineering, Quality, Production, Material Services, etc.).         

Design, build and setup new equipment for production.                                
Investigate & Develop New Methods for production (R&D).                                
Support Production & Maintenance with Downtime improvement on Production Equipment.                                
Implement Design Changes as required including machine modification.                                                                        

Associate’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.                                         
"Experience designing machinery and tooling for a mass production environment.
3D design experience"                                        
"Basic computer hardware knowledge
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, etc.)
Proficient in 3-D CAD software (Creo preferred)
Able to understand basic electrical circuit drawings and pneumatic drawings"                                        
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent training and experience.                                        
3-5 years related manufacturing design experience                                        
3-5 CAD training and 3 years of use
